Our excellent client is looking an experienced sales professional to join their Internal Sales team at their facility in Leeds. This company is one of the UK’s leading independent sheet material distributors. Working closely with brands such as Sundeala and Kronospan, this company provides its customers with products ranging from high quality wood panels to decorative surfaces.
Responsibilities:
• Dealing with inbound sales calls from a wide ranging customer base
• Develop relationships with existing and new clients of all sizes, ranging from DIY and trade to Blue Chip Multinational companies
• Pro-active outbound sales including some cold calling
Requirements:
• A track record of telesales (either within the timber trade, preferably in a panel products setting or other sales environment)
• Knowledge of Bistrack. Ideal but not essential
• Outstanding communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure both unsupervised and as part of a team
• Confidence in their ability and strength of character to thrive within an entrepreneurial culture
• A strong work ethic and flexibility to adapt to life in a fast pace, modern environment
